Jack follows a mysterious voice into a volcano and survives a series of traps to meet a Viking warrior transformed into a giant rock figure by Aku. He learns the "time portal" is a trap planted by Aku, who breaks a pact he made with the Triceraquins, prompting Jack to fight to save them. When Jack hears rumors of a time portal being found in the underwater city of Oceanus, he journeys to the city and is welcomed by its alien inhabitants, the Triceraquins.
